Giving Tuesday Is Back and Can you?

Established in 2012, Giving Tuesday has grown exponentially in popularity, serving as a counterbalance to the consumerism that often characterizes the days following Thanksgiving, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

The primary purpose of Giving Tuesday is to raise funding and awareness for non-profit organizations that work tirelessly to improve lives and address various societal challenges.

Our non-profit organization OPERATION GIFT A VET IS Giving Back NOW, we are thankful to be part of this inspiring movement.

We believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back to those who are less fortunate. This year, we have embarked on a special project aimed at spreading joy and support during the holiday season.

With nearly 500 stockings filled with essential items and treats already prepared, we are thrilled to announce that we still have a few hundred more to complete. These stockings will be distributed to Veterans Medically Confined and Homebound , ensuring that they feel cared for and remembered during this festive time.

As we approach the final stages of our stocking project, we are reaching out to our community for assistance. We ask you, our friends and supporters, to consider lending a hand or your financial support .

Your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve. Whether it’s helping to fill stockings, donating items, or spreading the word about our initiative, every bit of support counts. Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness and generosity that resonates throughout our community.

We will be gathering to fill the remaining stockings on Saturday, December 6th, at 10:30 AM. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals and families to come together, volunteer, and contribute to a meaningful cause.

We are excited to share that we are starting the delivery of these stockings this week! YAY! This is a momentous occasion for us, as we witness the direct impact of our collective efforts.
